LYT Yoga in English

LYT Yoga is a functional Vinyasa Yoga style that is designed to build strength and endurance for smarter and safer movement patterns. Lyt was founded by Lara Heimann, a physical therapist from the USA. As part of my Teacher Training with Lara, I am super excited to practice teaching in English as well as getting you moving in a LYT way. LYT classes consist of the following elements: 1) A reset, bringing the posture to neutral, working the core and starting smaller functional movements. 2) Various sun salutations that you will be practicing in each class 3) Differing sequences that build upon the reset and get you moving in bigger ways - always keeping to functional movements. You will learn the alignment principles of functional yoga, the basic LYT sun salutations and some great movements for your whole body including legs, hips, core, shoulders and neck. We will start rather slowly and pick up the pace to end the 8 weeks with empowering vinyasa yoga classes. For me, LYT is a fun way to practice Yoga and strengthen the whole body. Due to the sun salutations and numerous flows, it also gets up your heartrate. Lara also taught me so much about movements of the body that I can incorporate in every day life. I would love to pass on some of things knowledge to help you move smarter and safer - on and off the mat. You can book separat classes as well as an eight-weeks package (bundle). When you book the bundle, you will also get access to my Online Studio, where you can view and practice along the recordings of the classes anytime and anywhere.
